1. Suspected poison gas attack killed at least 40 people in the eastern suburbs of Damascus, Syria.

2. Hungary‘s right-wing Prime Minister Orban easily won a new term as his political party received a super-majority.

3. Brazil‘s top court narrowly ruled against former President Lula. He faces a 12-year jail sentence for corruption.
